Die traditionelle Weilburger Kirchweih wird im August in Weilburg gefeiert und bietet ein ganz besonderes Festprogramm für die Besucher. Das Programm ist vielseitig und startet stets mit dem Ausmarsch der Bürgergarde. Auch das Anschießen der Artillerie am Kanapee gehört zum traditionellen Programm sowie die Nacht der Vereine, das Antreten der Bürgergarde am König-Konrad-Platz, ein Fest auf dem Schlossplatz und vieles mehr. Abgerundet wird das Kirchweihwochenende mit einem Kindertag der Wirtschafts-Werbung Weilburg sowie einem verkaufsoffenem Sonntag in der Weilburger Innenstadt. Das Programm: Kirchweih Freitag 29. Zahlreiche Spielstationen, Wettbewerbe und Attraktionen stehen für Kinder jeden Alters von 12 bis 18 Uhr auf dem Programm. Die Geschäfte in der Innenstadt sind ebenfalls in dieser Zeit geöffnet.
The traditional Weilburg Kirchweih is celebrated in August in Weilburg and offers a very special festival program for visitors.
