Die Ettingshäuser Kirche wurde als Wehrkirche etwa 1260 erbaut und diente nicht nur dem Gottesdienst sondern auch dem Schutz der Bürger. Im Inneren sind es besonders das große farbige Fenster hinter dem Altar und das spätgotische Tonnengewölbe des Kirchenschiffes, die auf den ersten Blick auffallen. An der Kanzel sind künstlerisch wertvolle Gemälde der zwölf Apostel aus der Zeit des Brock (1600-1720) angebracht.
The Ettingshausen Church was built as a fortified church around 1260 and served not only for worship but also for the protection of the citizens. Inside, it is especially the large colored window behind the altar and the late Gothic barrel vault of the nave that stand out at first glance. On the pulpit, there are artistically valuable paintings of the twelve apostles from the time of Brock (1600-1720).
