Seit mehr als 14 Jahren führt Dimitrios Chinitidis in dem schmucken weißen Bau, in dem früher die Alte Stadtbibliothek ihren Sitz hatte, das Gourmet-Restaurant Goldmund. Die Räume sind elegant und stilvoll, an den Wänden hängen Porträts großer Schriftsteller*innen wie Günter Grass oder Samuel Beckett. Auf der Karte steht eine kleine, feine Auswahl an Klassikern wie Rumpsteak, Lachs oder Schwein, die raffiniert und mit französischer Note zubereitet werden. Zum Restaurant gehört neben dem Hauptraum auch ein gemütliches Kaminzimmer, das für Events gemietet werden kann.

For more than 14 years, Dimitrios Chinitidis has been running the gourmet restaurant Goldmund in the smart white building that used to house the Old City Library. The rooms are elegant and stylish, with portraits of great writers such as Günter Grass and Samuel Beckett hanging on the walls. The menu features a small, fine selection of classics such as rump steak, salmon and pork, all prepared with a refined French flavour. In addition to the main room, the restaurant also has a cosy fireside lounge that can be hired for events.
