Die Schlossallee ist ein Gewinn. Bei Monopoly und im südhessischen Heusenstamm auch im echten Leben. In der 19.000 Einwohner*innen-Stadt führt sie zum eleganten Renaissanceschloss Schönborn aus dem Jahr 1663. Das war in seiner wechselvollen Geschichte nicht nur gräfliche Residenz, sondern auch schon Lazarett und Postschule. Heute hat Heusenstamms Stadtverwaltung ihren Sitz im Gebäude– dazu gehört auch das Standesamt, das Brautpaaren dank Schloss und Schlosspark ein ideales Setting für ihre Hochzeitsfotos bietet.
Gefeiert wird am Schloss nicht nur bei Trauungen: Im Sommer trifft man sich hier zum Kultursommer, im Herbst zum Weinfest am Schloss und im Winter findet im Innenhof der beliebte St. Nikolausmarkt statt. Der weite Schlosspark im Stil eines englischen Landschaftsgartens grenzt direkt an die Biber und lädt zum Spazieren und Entspannen ein. Und wer mag, dehnt den Spaziergang noch weiter aus – in den Wald gleich hinter dem Park.

Schlossallee is a winner. In Monopoly and also in real life in Heusenstamm in southern Hesse.
