In einem Anbau der Alten Johanneskirche in Hanaus Altstadt wird seit 2024 ein buntes Kultur- und Bildungsprogramm geboten: Konzerte, Kleinkunst, Theater und Lesungen finden hier ebenso statt wie zum Beispiel eine Nachhaltigkeitsmesse oder Märkte. Und das in historischem Setting: Die mittelalterliche Stadtmauer von Hanau wurde 1658 beim Bau der Kirche in die Westwand einbezogen; gotische Elemente wie Spitzbogenfenster und der Chor prägen das Gebäude.
