Neither milk nor sacks were produced here - the location takes its name from Carl Milchsack. He founded the company, which produced printing inks here until 1999. Today, the area in the Gutleutviertel has a rugged charm: graffiti on the walls, winding industrial courtyards - and plenty of space for a good network of music and theatre.
The Theater Landungsbrücke Frankfurt stages productions in no less than five event rooms, some of which are sometimes outside the mainstream, as well as a whole host of concerts. Jazz is a focal point of the music program, but the location also has cult status in the techno and electro scene. After all, two clubs, Tanzhaus West and Dora Brillant, are located in the same building.

Weder Milch noch Säcke wurden hier produziert – ihren Namen hat die Location von Carl Milchsack. Er gründete die Firma, die hier bis 1999 Druckfarben herstellte. Heute hat das Areal im Gutleutviertel einen rauen Charme: Graffiti an den Wänden, verwinkelte Industriehöfe – und dabei richtig viel Platz für eine gute Vernetzung von Musik und Theater.
In gleich fünf Veranstaltungsräumen laufen hier Inszenierungen des Theaters Landungsbrücke Frankfurt, die auch gerne mal abseits des Mainstreams liegen, und dazu jede Menge Konzerte. Jazz ist ein Schwerpunkt im Musikprogramm, aber auch in der Techno- und Elektroszene hat die Location Kultstatus. Schließlich sitzen mit dem Tanzhaus West und dem Dora Brillant gleich zwei Clubs im gleichen Gebäude.
