“Sogni” – “Dreams”: That’s the name of one of the most famous murals in Nordend. A woman in a long green dress rests her head on her arm and gazes thoughtfully into the distance. And it stretches over five stories on the facade of an apartment building at Nordring 34. But street art fans have this Offenbach neighborhood on their radar for more than just this piece by graffiti legend Case Maclaim. The neighborhood, which borders directly on the newly developed Offenbach Harbor, boasts an above-average number of great murals—and is also a district in the midst of change: down-to-earth and sometimes rough around the edges, but also a meeting place for the hipster and design scenes.
The Heyne Art Factory on Ludwigstraße is known far beyond the city limits. Where screws and threads were once produced, artists, tech startups, and creatives from the advertising and design industries now work. If you’re exploring the Nordend, be sure to set aside plenty of time: with restaurants like Trattodino and Kanouhou, the Nordend boasts a vibrant dining scene—and with the Capitol, it also offers one of the most beautiful spots for a night out.

Und das über fünf Stockwerke an der Fassade eines Mehrfamilienhauses am Nordring 34.
