Am Limes-Info-Pavillon in Glashütten beginnt nicht nur der Qualitätswanderweg Limeserlebnispfad Hochtaunus, sondern auch ein weiterer interessanter Weg: der rund 1,5 Kilometer lange WaldGLASweg. Dieser beleuchtet mit seinen sieben Stationen einen lokalen Aspekt der Taunus-Geschichte näher: Die spätmittelalterliche Glasproduktion in den Glashöfen, die Glashütten seinen Namen verliehen hat. Die Künstlerin Ines Nickchen, die selbst aus Glashütten stammt, hat den Weg mit verschiedenen Glasinstallationen bestückt und ihn so in ein begehbares Kunstwerk verwandelt. In Verbindung mit der Sonne entsteht ein faszinierendes Farbenspiel.
