Die VfL Big Band gastiert am 07. Juni hoch über den Dächern Marburgs mit einem Programm voller Latin-Jazz Auf dem Freigelände des Turmcafés am Spiegelslustturm heißt es ab 16:00 Uhr „Latin Up!“ wenn mitreißende Rhythmen, sinnliche Melodien und ein Hauch karibischer Sonne durch den Sommerhimmel über Marburg ziehen. Unter der Leitung von Stefan Koch präsentiert die 20-köpfige Band gemeinsam mit Sängerin Annika Rink ein abwechslungsreiches Programm aus den lateinamerikanischen Stilrichtungen Mambo, Salsa, Samba und Bossa Nova – in Arrangements für den Klangkörper Big Band. Die Veranstaltung ist Teil des Kultursommers Mittelhessen Der Eintritt ist frei, um Spenden wird gebeten.
