From France to the Burgwald Many fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm have their origins in France and Italy and were brought to Germany by the Huguenots. On a short hike (approx. 90 min.) along the cultural long-distance hiking trail “Huguenot and Waldensian Path” in the Burgwald, we embark on a cultural-historical quest. After a group refreshment with coffee, cake, and sausages, we will learn interesting facts about the journey of fairy tales through Europe. The highlight will be a special narration of “Sleeping Beauty,” presented by fairy tale storyteller Gudrun Rathke and accompanied by violinist Cornelia Ilg. The hike starts at 2 p.m. at the sports and cultural hall (Willershäuser Str. 2, 35119 Rosenthal) in the parking lot. Von Frankreich in den Burgwald Viele Märchen der Brüder Grimm haben ihren Ursprung in Frankreich und Italien und gelangten mit den Hugenotten nach Deutschland. Auf einer kleinen Wanderung (ca. 90 Min.) auf dem Kulturfernwanderweg „Hugenotten- und Waldenserpfad“ im Burgwald begeben wir uns auf eine kulturhistorische Spurensuche. Nach einer gemeinsamen Stärkung mit Kaffe, Kuchen und Würstchen erfahren wir Interessantes über die Wanderung der Märchen durch Europa. Den Höhepunkt bildet eine besondere Erzählfassung von „Dornröschen“, präsentiert von Märchenerzählerin Gudrun Rathke und begleitet von der Geigerin Cornelia Ilg. Die Wanderung startet um 14 Uhr an der Sport- und Kulturhalle (Willershäuser Str. 2, 35119 Rosenthal) auf dem Parkplatz.
