Am Wanderparkplatz Breitenborner Höhe startet die Spessartspur und verläuft zunächst parallel zum Premium-Fernwanderweg Spessartbogen in Richtung Lützeltal. Der Weg lässt beim anschließenden Aufstieg schmale Blicke ins Tal zu. Typische Wildkräuter wie lilafarbene Minzarten oder der violette Wasserdost begleiten den Mischwaldrand bis zur Edelweiß-Schutzhütte. Von dort fürht die Spur auf dicht bewachsenen erdigen Pfaden zurück zum Ausgangspunkt Breitenborner Höhe.  TIPPS UND WEITERE INFORMATIONEN Die empfohlene Laufrichtung ist entgegen des Uhrzeigersinns.
