Like something out of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, the 36-meter-high tower rises amidst dense forests. Surrounded by lush greenery, the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Tower, known colloquially as Spiegelslustturm, is one of the most picturesque settings and popular destinations in Marburg. When the tower is open, the climb up the 167 steps inside the tower is well worth it. Once at the top, you are rewarded with a unique panoramic view of the city, the Lahntal valley, and the hilly surroundings. Equally impressive is the view from the terrace at the base of the tower. What you shouldn't miss here: coffee and cake in the tower café or on the summer terrace!
