Jan Vogler, einer der berühmtesten Cellisten der Welt, feiert den ersten Advent im Kurhaus Bad Ems. Auf Einladung der Villa Musica spielt der Virtuose aus Dresden mit jungen Spitzenkönnern der Villa Musica am Sonntag, 30. November um 17 Uhr im Marmorsaal das Programm „Romantischer Advent“. Das Klavierquartett von Robert Schumann macht den Anfang – festliche Musik aus dem Leipzig des Jahres 1842 mit einer der schönsten Cellomelodien, die jemals geschrieben wurden. Auch im gewaltigen Klavierquintett von Antonín Dvorák nimmt das Cello einen prominenten Platz ein. Slawische Tänze, böhmische Volkslieder und romantische Sehnsuchtsmelodien verbinden sich in diesem A-Dur-Quintett aus dem Jahr 1887 zu einer Prager Sinfonie für vier Streicher und Klavier. Mit Jan Vogler musizieren junge, preisgekrönte Solisten der Villa Musica an Geigen, Bratsche und Klavier.

Jan Vogler, one of the most famous cellists in the world, celebrates the first Advent at the Kurhaus Bad Ems. At the invitation of Villa Musica, the virtuoso from Dresden performs with young top talents from Villa Musica on Sunday, November 30 at 5 PM in the Marmorsaal with the program “Romantic Advent.” The piano quartet by Robert Schumann opens the concert – festive music from Leipzig in the year 1842 featuring one of the most beautiful cello melodies ever written. The cello also takes a prominent place in the powerful piano quintet by Antonín Dvorák. Slavonic dances, Bohemian folk songs, and romantic melodies of longing intertwine in this A major quintet from 1887, creating a Prague symphony for four strings and piano. Young, award-winning soloists from Villa Musica perform alongside Jan Vogler on violin, viola, and piano.
