The viewing pavilion, known as Homberg Temple, has recently been renovated. It offers a good view of Herborn and the surrounding area and is located along hiking trails such as the Lahn-Dill Ridge Path, the European Cultural Route Huguenot and Waldensian Path, and the H6. It was presumably built around 1900 by citizens of Herborn and the Beautification Association. Near the Homberg Temple on the way down to the town, new resting benches and a table at the vantage point "Castle View" invite hikers and walkers to take a break.
