Den Tanz in den Mai feiert Marburg in diesem Jahr am Donnerstag, dem 30. April 2026, auf dem Marktplatz. Dort findet das vom Stadtmarketing Marburg veranstaltete Maieinsingen samt großer Maiparty statt. Die Maiparty ist ein Magnet für Besucher:innen, erwartet werden Tausende Menschen, die den historischen Marktplatz der Universitätsstadt Marburg füllen. Um 20 Uhr startet die Maiparty. Ab 24 Uhr singen die Besucher*innen gemeinsam mit Oberbürgermeister Dr. Thomas Spies sowie weiteren Mitgliedern des Magistrats und der Stadtgesellschaft das Lied „Der Mai ist gekommen“. Getränke von der Familie Ahlendorf. Das Highlight ist dem Anlass entsprechend eine selbsthergestellte Maibowle vom Gasthaus Zur Sonne. Der Eintritt ist frei. Die Maiparty geht bis 1 Uhr nachts.
