From concerts of all kinds to creative jam sessions – the program is as diverse as the people who create it. Thanks to the direct train connections from Gießen and Marburg, you can simply step off the train and dive right into the event. Since the 1980s, the historic train station building has transformed from vacancy to a cultural space and is now run with great dedication by the Verein Kultur- und Begegnungsstätte Bahnhof Lollar e.V.
Wo einst Fahrkarten verkauft und Wartezeit überbrückt wurde, schlägt heute das Herz der Kultur: Der Kulturbahnhof Lollar ist ein lebendiger Treffpunkt für Musik, Ausstellungen und Film. Von Konzerten aller Art bis hin zu kreativen Jam-Sessions – das Programm ist so vielfältig wie die Menschen, die es gestalten. Dank der direkten Bahnanbindung aus Gießen und Marburg kann man einfach aus dem Zug steigen und direkt in die Veranstaltung eintauchen. Seit den 1980er Jahren hat sich das historische Bahnhofsgebäude vom Leerstand zum kulturellen Freiraum entwickelt und wird heute mit viel Engagement vom Verein Kultur- und Begegnungsstätte Bahnhof Lollar e.V. betrieben.
