The centerpiece of the facility is the spacious foot basin, which is fed with fresh spring water and provides a soothing refreshment for tired legs – a perfect break in the midst of nature. The facility was created through the communal commitment of citizens from Burgsolms and was built with the active support of the city of Solms. It is supervised and maintained by the volunteers of the association "IG Kneippanlage Tretbecken." An impressive example of what local initiative can achieve. Surrounded by well-kept greenery and equipped with numerous resting benches, the Kneipp facility offers not only health benefits but also a small oasis of peace. Located near the Lahn hiking trail and directly along the cycling path from Burgsolms to Braunfels, the Kneipp facility is an ideal destination for a quick stopover or an extended stay for regeneration and relaxation.
Mitten im idyllischen Mainbachwald von Burgsolms lädt die liebevoll gestaltete Kneippanlage Wanderer, Radfahrer und Ruhesuchende zum Verweilen und Auftanken ein. Das Herzstück der Anlage ist das großzügige Tretbecken, das mit frischem Quellwasser gespeist wird und eine wohltuende Erfrischung für müde Beine bietet – eine perfekte Pause inmitten der Natur. Die Anlage entstand durch das gemeinschaftliche Engagement von Bürgern aus Burgsolms und wurde mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung der Stadt Solms errichtet. Betreut und gepflegt, wird sie von den Ehrenamtlichen des Vereins „IG Kneippanlage Tretbecken“. Ein eindrucksvolles Beispiel dafür, was lokale Initiative bewirken kann. Umgeben von gepflegtem Grün und ausgestattet mit zahlreichen Ruhebänken bietet die Kneippanlage nicht nur gesundheitliche Vorteile, sondern auch eine kleine Oase der Ruhe. Nahe des Lahnwanderwegs und direkt am Radweg von Burgsolms nach Braunfels gelegen, ist die Kneippanlage ein ideales Ausflugziel, für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp oder einen ausgedehnten Aufenthalt zur Regeneration und Erholung.
