In Kay Maeritz' living and working space at Burggarten in Londorf, he presents a selection of his photographs and paintings. The painterly exploration of the influence of humans on our planet, as well as the investigation of natural structures and bodily metamorphoses, shape Kay Maeritz's work. The paintings are created in a process that often takes weeks, using the finest brushes and starting from photographs. Other paintings are developed based on life drawings and natural structures.
