Unser Tipp: Direkt neben dem Matschspielplatz befindet sich das Umweltzentrum sowie ein Kneippbecken. Die Anlage besteht aus zwei Wasserpumpen, einem Wasserrad sowie verschiedenen Wasser- und Matschbecken aus Holz, die in eine Sandspielfläche direkt am Umweltzentrum eingebettet sind. In unmittelbarer Nähe bietet ein Wasserbecken eine willkommene Abkühlung im Sommer. Weitere Spiel- und Sportmöglichkeiten finden sich in Richtung Deutsches Feuerwehrmuseum, darunter ein Fitness- und Bewegungsparcours in der Fulda-Aue sowie ein Barfußpfad. Im Bereich der Teiche gibt es unter anderem eine Floßüberquerung und eine Calisthenics-Anlage. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch einen Hang-Röhrenrutschturm mit 11 Metern Höhe, eine Schaukel, eine Doppelseilbahn sowie einen Skatepark.
Our tip: Right next to the mud playground is the environmental center as well as a Kneipp pool. The facility consists of two water pumps, a water wheel, as well as various water and mud pools made of wood, which are embedded in a sand play area directly at the environmental center. In close proximity, a water basin offers a welcome cooling off in the summer. Further play and sports opportunities can be found towards German Fire Brigade Museum, including a fitness and movement course in the Fulda Valley as well as a barefoot path. In the area of the ponds, there is among other things a raft crossing and a calisthenics facility. The offer is complemented by a chute tower with a height of 11 meters, a swing, a double zip line, as well as a skate park.
