Die Oranienstadt Dillenburg in Kinderhand am 20.06.2026 Der Kindertag ist seit 27 Jahren eine der beliebtesten Aktionen in Dillenburg. Am Samstag den 20. Juni ist es endlich wieder soweit: “Kindertag und Entenrennen“ in der Oranienstadt Dillenburg laden zum Mitmachen, Ausprobieren und Spaß haben ein! Von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr verwandeln Barbara Thomas und Susanne Weiser von der AG Dillenburger Kaufleute im Förderkreis Dillenburg e.V. die ganze Dillenburger Innenstadt in einen riesigen Abenteuerspielplatz. Die Kinder können sich auf Hüpfburgen, einer Rollenrutsche, einem Fahrzeug-Parcours, auf der Bobby-Car-, Tretunimog- und Kart-Bahn des THW im Bereich Wickbrücke oder dem Wipe-Out auf dem Wilhelmsplatz ausstoben. Der Förderverein des Wildparks Donsbach und die Dillenburger Fußballvereine (SSV Dillenburg, TG Dillenburg, FC Dillenburg) stellen sich vor und haben Einiges für die Kinder vorbereitet! Profis schminken kleine Löwen, Feen und Piraten oder färben bunte Strähnen ins Haar. Zudem wird es einen Kicker und eine Fotobox geben. Das DRK Dillenburg stellt Erste Hilfe für Kinder an Teddy Todd auf dem Hüttenplatz vor. Auch der Golfclub Dillenburg und der Turnverein Dillenburg sind mit Mitmach-Aktionen dabei. Auf der Showbühne singt der Kinderchor „Sonnenstrahlen für Jesus“ und die blauen Funken des CVO Oberscheld sowie die Tanzgruppe Maxi Moves aus Nanzenbach begeistern mit ihren Aufführungen. Ein Highlight ist die Seifenblasen-Mitmachaktion mit „Bubble Zauber“ in der Marktstraße. Um 13.30 Uhr werden die Enten des Round-Table 57 Dillenburg für das beliebte Entenrennen an der Obertorbrücke ins Wasser gelassen. Um 14.30 Uhr erfolgt die Bekanntgabe der Gewinner des Entenrennens auf der Bühne in der Marktstraße. Wettscheine für das Entenrennen können in den Vorverkaufsstellen und während des Kindertages vor Ort gekauft werden. Kinderflohmarkt In der gesamten Innenstadt gibt es, wie auch in den Vorjahren, einen Flohmarkt von Kindern für Kinder. Eine Standgebühr wird für die jüngsten Verkäufer selbstverständlich nicht erhoben. Am Veranstaltungstag können sich interessierte Flohmarkthändler telefonisch bei den Organisatoren unter Telefon 02771-896156 melden und nach den besten Plätzen erkundigen. Für Essen und Trinken ist außerdem bestens gesorgt! Die Organisatorinnen der AG Dillenburger Kaufleute freuen sich, dass sich auch dieses Jahr wieder so viele Menschen für Kinder engagieren: Kaufleute, Vereine, Kindergärten, Serviceclubs und viele mehr haben ein tolles, abwechslungsreiches Programm auf die Beine gestellt – ALLE Mitmach-Stationen kosten KEIN Geld. The Orange City of Dillenburg in the Hands of Children on 20.06.2026 Children's Day has been one of the most popular events in Dillenburg for 27 years. On Saturday, June 20, it will finally be time again: “Children's Day and Duck Race” in the Orange City of Dillenburg invites everyone to participate, try things out, and have fun! From 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Barbara Thomas and Susanne Weiser from the AG Dillenburger Kaufleute in the Förderkreis Dillenburg e.V. will transform the entire downtown area of Dillenburg into a huge adventure playground. Children can let loose on bouncy castles, a rolling slide, a vehicle course, the Bobby-Car, tread-lorry and kart track of the THW in the Wickbrücke area, or tackle the Wipe-Out on Wilhelmsplatz. The Friends of the Wild Park Donsbach and the Dillenburg football clubs (SSV Dillenburg, TG Dillenburg, FC Dillenburg) will introduce themselves and have prepared a lot for the children! Professionals will face paint little lions, fairies, and pirates or apply colorful streaks in their hair. Additionally, there will be a foosball table and a photo booth. The DRK Dillenburg will present First Aid for children with Teddy Todd at the hut square. The Dillenburg Golf Club and the Dillenburg Gymnastics Club will also be involved with participation activities. On the show stage, the children's choir “Sun Rays for Jesus” will sing, and the blue sparks of CVO Oberscheld, as well as the dance group Maxi Moves from Nanzenbach, will delight with their performances. A highlight will be the bubble-making activity with “Bubble Magic” in Marktstraße. At 1.30 p.m., the ducks of Round Table 57 Dillenburg will be released into the water for the popular duck race at the Obertor Bridge. At 2.30 p.m., the winners of the duck race will be announced on stage in Marktstraße. Betting slips for the duck race can be purchased at advance sales locations and on-site during Children's Day.
