On BLUE SUNDAY (Day of Industrial Culture North Hesse), our tour guide will take you along and show you the suburb framed by the Werra River. Here by the Werra, tanners, shoemakers, millers, and lime manufacturers made their homes and carried out their work. Large half-timbered houses and tanner's barns remind us of a lost craft. Join us on this special journey of discovery and learn, for example, what tools the tanner needed for his daily work.
