Dieser Bereich mit botanischem Anspruch bietet für Jung und Alt einen hohen Erholungscharakter. Die Baumbeschriftungen geben beim Spaziergang Auskunft über die Herkunft und die Eigenschaften der Bäume. Außerdem gibt es hier einen Bienenlehrpfad, ein Insektenhotel, eine Ur-Obsthecke, an der auch gerne genascht werden darf, sowie eine naturnahe Spiellandschaft mit Kletterwand, einen Bolzplatz und eine Tischtennisplatte für die kleinen Besucher. Seit Mai 2025 steht im Botanischen Garten auch das Botanikhaus zur Verfügung. Es bietet kleinen Gruppen Platz, z.B. als Lernort für Kindergärten und Schulen oder für Seminare und Kurse. Wenn ihr euch in einem ganz besonderen Ambiente das Ja-Wort geben möchtet, so könnt ihr das auch in diesem ganz besonderen Ambiente mitten im Botanischen Garten machen, da das Botanikhaus auch eine Außenstelle des Eschweger Standesamtes ist. Im Jahresverlauf finden im Botanischen Garten verschiedene Veranstaltungen, wie z.B. der Herbstzauber, Gottesdienste im Grünen oder sportliche Events statt.
This area with botanical significance offers a high recreational value for both young and old. The tree labels provide information about the origin and characteristics of the trees during a walk. Additionally, there is a bee educational trail, an insect hotel, a wild fruit hedge that can be tasted, as well as a nature-inspired play area with a climbing wall, a soccer field, and a table tennis table for young visitors. Since May 2025, the Botanical Garden also features the Botany House, which accommodates small groups, e.g., as a learning location for kindergartens and schools or for seminars and courses. If you would like to say "I do" in a very special setting, you can also do so in this unique environment in the middle of the Botanical Garden, as the Botany House also serves as an annex to the Eschwege Registry Office. Throughout the year, various events take place in the Botanical Garden, such as the Autumn Magic, outdoor church services, or sports events.
